Patient price guide

What will my visit cost?

Average self-pay prices for visits, testing and treatment, plus how insurance changes what you pay. We are an independent, physician-owned practice, so there are no hospital facility fees.

No facility fees

Hospital-owned clinics often add a fee for using their building. We don’t.

Benefits checked first

Before testing, we call your plan and tell you what you are likely to owe.

Payment plans

Interest-free monthly plans for larger bills, including OIT.

Have insurance? Start here.

Most of our patients use insurance. What you pay depends on three numbers from your plan:

Copay

A set amount per visit, often printed on your card. If your plan has a specialist copay, that is usually all you pay for the visit itself.

Deductible

What you pay each year before insurance starts sharing costs. Testing almost always counts toward it, so early in the year you may pay close to the self-pay price.

Coinsurance

Your share after the deductible is met, such as 20%. On a $340 test panel, that would be $68.

Questions to ask your insurance

Call the member services number on the back of your card and write down the answers.

  • Is Aller-Vista in network for my plan?
  • What is my deductible, and how much have I met this year?
  • Do I have a specialist copay?
  • What is my coinsurance after the deductible?
  • Is allergy and breathing testing covered? (CPT 95004, 94010, 95012)
  • Are allergy shots covered? (CPT 95165, 95115, 95117)
  • Do I need a referral from my primary care doctor?

Medicare, TRICARE and most Texas Medicaid and CHIP plans cover medically necessary allergy care at our clinics. See every plan we accept.

Average self-pay prices

The self-pay price is what you pay without insurance, or before your deductible is met. Prices can vary by up to 20% depending on what your provider orders. You won’t get all of these at one visit.
